As much we are all blaming the government for being inactive in dealing with the problems of the country, it would do no wrong if we started doing what we ask them to do. What if we started doing the things we tell them to do instead of wasting time complaining? By putting into action simple tasks we wanted to achieve in order to help our country prosper would make a huge difference no matter how small we think it is.
Volunteering itself can make a huge impact to a person, whether to the elderly, kids, or less fortunate brothers and sisters out there. Too simply
contribute your goodness and works to humanity unselfishly, without seeking any rewards can be one the best gifts one will not regret to offer to this world. As Aesop would say, "No act of kindness, no matter how small, is ever wasted." Actually when it comes to volunteering we are not after measuring the size of what you do or contribute, but rather on having that thought of being selfless matters more. It would put more meaning to our life since we would not regret that we we're able to influence and inspire at the same time another person's life. We may not be known for being successful in a certain field, but to say that we are able to be part of someone's life is something more fulfilling.
At least once in our life, we should ask how we could be useful or what service can we be to the others. And in that way, we are able to realize how extremely lucky and blessed we are and at the same time incorporate this by giving or working without any personal motivation. Being able to volunteer should also have an impact in order for it to branch out and influence the people we are helping. That way, more and more people work to benefit others, not themselves. Overall, volunteerism just proves how one cannot feel self-worth without giving and sharing one's time talents and treasures to our less fortunate brothers and sisters
